History of Excellence 

Tri-State Building & Supply Co., Inc. has built its 70-plus year reputation as a design-build general contractor on strong customer relationships and general contractor services to ensure quality construction and on-time project completion.  We have been awarded numerous “High Performance Builder” and “Million Dollar Builder” awards from Butler ® Manufacturing Company for our excellence and performance in the design-build sector of Butler ® Building Construction Systems.  Tri-State is also a part of the “Twenty Million Dollar Builder” Club from Butler ®.  We also self-perform several construction services including concrete construction, carpentry, and steel erection.

Since becoming an Authorized Butler Builder in 1980, Tri-State Building has excelled to become one of the top dealers and erectors of pre-engineered steel buildings in Kansas.  We have been named a Butler High Performance Builder more than 20 times since 1988.  The Butler High Performance Builder Award I sonly given to those who meet or exceed annual trade goals, set forth by Butler.  We are a part of the “25 Million Dollar Club” for steel building sales and continue to sell a million dollars’ or more of Butler Buildings Systems and/or Butler products annually.

Butler Manufacturing™ has remained the industry leader in systems construction (often referred to as “pre-engineered”) for more than 60 years.  Systems construction offers many efficiencies versus conventional construction methods, while still enabling buildings to be built to the same specifications and similar architectural design parameters as conventional buildings.
